Stand Up With Standing Rock is a European solidarity tour with water defenders fighting against the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL). Rachel Heaton, Nataanii Means, Wašté Win Young and Rafael Gonzales, activists of the NoDAPL movement, will carry the voices of the water protectors to various parts of Europe : Paris, Brussels, the Netherlands, Bonn, Geneva, Bologna, Barcelona, Bologna, BilbaoMadrid, Rome and Naples. From May 20th till June 20th 2017, their passage through Europe will be the occasion to demand that European banks divest from an array of projects which are devastating for the climate and violate the First Nations Rights on the Turtle Island (North America); and to manifest once again the European peoples’ firm opposition to Trump’s criminal climate policies. With non-violent actions of civil disobedience, conferences, debates, and also hip-hop concerts, informal exchanges and conviviality, the tour aims to participate in the building of a global force which commits itself to climate justice, and to oppose fascism and neoliberalism.

Stand Up With Standing est une tournée européenne de soutien à la lutte contre l’oléoduc DAPL (Dakota Access Pipeline). Rachel Heaton, Nataanii Means, Wašté Win Young et Rafael Gonzales, activistes du mouvement NoDAPL, viendront porter la voix des défenseurs de l’eau (water protectors) dans plusieurs territoires d’Europe : Paris, Bruxelles, les Pays-Bas, Bonn, Genève, Barcelone, Bologne, Madrid, Bilbao, Rome et Naples. Du 20 mai au 20 juin 2017, leur passage en Europe sera l’occasion de demander le désinvestissement des banques européennes des différents projets climaticides et bafouant le droit des peuples autochtones en cours sur la Turtle Island (Amérique du Nord) et de montrer une fois de plus l’opposition ferme des peuples aux politiques climaticides de Trump. Par des actions de désobéissance civile non violentes, des conférences, des débats, mais aussi des temps d’échanges plus informels, des concerts hip-hop et des temps de convivialité, cette tournée vise à participer à la construction d’une force globale qui s’engage pour la justice climatique, contre le fascisme et le néolibéralisme.
